【摘要】:Thedeterminationconsistsinco-reduction,withliberationofoxygen,oftheperoxyhydrateandpotassiumpermanganateinanacidsolution.Becauseofthespecifityofwashingpowdersandtherelativestabilityofperoxyhydrates,thedissolutionofwashingpowdersislikelytobeincompleteandmayresultinalossofoxygen;thesedisadvantageshavebeenavoitedbyadoptionofaparticularmethodofdissolutionappropriatetothedeterminationofactiveoxygencontent.Thismethodmaybeusedfordetermingperoxyhydrates,forexamplesodiumperborate.
