【摘要】:Theserequirementsapplytorigidprinted-wiringboardsandflexibleprinted-wiringboardforuseascomponentsindevicesorappliances.Compliancewiththeserequirementsdoesnotindicatethattheproductisacceptableforuseasacomponentofanendproductwithoutfurtherinvestigation.Theflexibleprinted-wiringboardscoveredbytheserequirementsconsistofconductorsaffixedtoinsulatingbasefilm,withorwithoutacover-layfilm,withmidboardconnections.Theserequirementsdonotcoverflexibleprinted-wiringboardsoflaminated-filmconstructioninwhichtheconductorsareparalleltoeachotherandarecompletelycoveredbythebasefilmwithonlypoint-to-pointendconnections.Theserequirementsdonotapplytoflexible,flex-to-install,rigid,andmultilayerrigidflexcompositeinterconnectconstructionswithandwithoutstiffenerandadhesivematerialsasflexiblematerialsinterconnectconstructions(FMIC's)foruseascomponentsindevicesorappliances-thatarecoveredbytheStandardforFlexibleMaterialsInterconnectConstructions,UL796F.
