【摘要】:WARNING—SpecialattentionisrequiredwhenestablishingthetoothgeometryespeciallyforCtypegearprofile.ThisTechnicalReportspecifiesequationsforcalculatingtheloadcapacityofcylindricalwormgearsandcoversloadratingsassociatedwithwear,pitting,wormdeflection,toothbreakageandtemperature.ScuffingandotherfailuremodesarenotcoveredbythisTechnicalReport.Theloadratinganddesignproceduresarevalidforslidingvelocitiesovertoothsurfacesofupto25m/sandcontactratiosequaltoorgreaterthan2,1.Forwear,slidingvelocitiesovertoothsurfacesarenotbelow0,1m/s.Therulesandrecommendationsforthedimensioning,lubricantsormaterialsselectedbythisTechnicalReportonlyapplytocentredistancesof50mmandlarger.Forcentredistancesbelow50mm,methodAapplies.Thechoiceofappropriatemethodsofcalculationrequiresknowledgeandexperience.ThisTechnicalReportisintendedforusebyexperiencedgeardesignerswhoareabletomakeinformedjudgementsconcerningfactors.Itisnotintendedforusebyengineerswholackthenecessaryexperience.See5.4.Thegeometryofwormgearsiscomplex,thereforetheuserofthisTechnicalReportisencouragedtomakesurethatavalidworkinggeometryhasbeenestablished.
