【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardappliestofiredampersthataretobeusedinconjunctionwithfireseparatingelementstomaintainfirecompartments.Thisstandardspecifiesrequirementsandgivesreferencetothetestmethodsdefinedforfiredampers,whichareintendedtobeinstalledinHeating,VentilatingandAirConditioning(HVAC)installationsinbuildings.Allfiredamperscloseautomaticallyinresponsetoraisedtemperaturesindicatingfire.Detailsaregivenfortheprovisionofevaluationofconformityandmarkingoffiredampers.Toavoidduplicationreferenceismadetoavarietyofotherstandards.TothisenditisadvisedtoreadthisstandardinconjunctionwithEN1366-2andEN1363-1fordetailsofthefireresistancetestingandEN13501-3forclassification.Firedampersmeetingrequirementsofthisstandardmaybeconsideredsuitableforbothductedandunductedapplications.Thisstandardhasnotconsideredindetailthedetrimentaland/orcorrosiveeffectsthatmaybecausedbychemicalprocessespresentintheatmosphere,whicharedrawnthroughthesystemintentionallyorinadvertentlyandthereforedoesnotapplytofiredampersusedinsuchapplications.AnindicationofsaltspraycorrosionmaybedeterminedusingthemethoddescribedinAnnexB.
