【摘要】:Thisstandardisintendedtobeusedbyengineersanddesignersasaguidetoassisttheminselectingappropriatethermalinsulationjacketingmaterials.Asaguide,itcanbeusedtoidentifyperformancecharacteristicsthatmightbenecessaryforaparticularinsulationjacketingsystem.Thisguideisnotaspecificationandthereforeshouldnotbeusedassuch.Itmight,however,beusefulinwritingaspecification.SpecificationC921canalsobeusedtodeterminepropertiesofjacketingmaterialsforthermalinsulation.1.1Thisguidecoverscriteriaforselectingthermalinsulationjacketingmaterialsandisnotintendedforuseasaperformanceorproductspecification.1.2Thisguideappliestojacketingmaterialsappliedoverthermalinsulationforpiping,ducts,andequipment.1.3Thisguideincludesjacketingmaterialsusedoverthermalinsulationwhethertheinsulationisintheformofpipe,board,orblanket,orfieldappliedmaterialsthatareself-supporting,includinginsulatingcements.1.4Thisguidedoesnotincludecoversorotherretainingwallsthatcontainloosefill,othernonsupportinginsulationmaterials,orconduitsorcontainersforburiedinsulationsystems.1.5Thisguidedoesnotincludemasticsandcoatingsandtheirreinforcements.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIvaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardappliestoexternalqualityassessmentschemes,hereaftercalledEQAS,thatincludeintheirfunctionstheassessmentandevaluationoftheperformanceofspecifiedinvitrodiagnosticprocedures(includinginvitrodiagnosticmedicaldevices,hereaftercalledIVDMDs).ItsetsouttherequirementsthatarenecessarytoenableEQAStofulfilthisfunctionrelatingto:—schemedesignandorganisation;—identificationofprocedures(IVDMDs)usedbytheparticipant;—classificationandevaluationofdata.NOTEExternalqualityassessmentdatageneratedaccordingtothesecriteriawillhelpmanufacturers,usersorcompetentauthoritiestomonitorindependentlythepost-marketingperformanceofIVDMDs.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifywaysinwhichEQASthemselvesareorganised,norhowtheindividualorcollectiveperformanceofclinicallaboratoriesisevaluated.
